Fice 2010

Conference dates 7 – 9 December 2010

FICE South Africa is pleased to be organizing the 31st FICE International Congress for the first time on the African continent in Cape Town, South Africa from 7 – 9 December 2010.

The theme of the FICE 2010 Congress "Celebrating the courage to care in a diverse world" speaks to the increasing challenges experienced globally in providing appropriate services to children, youth and families in the very diverse contexts in which FICE member countries operate.

We warmly welcome you to join us in South Africa for the FICE 2010 Congress where 600 adult and youth delegates from across the world will join in seeking innovation in caring for children.

Registration details will be made available early 2009.

“No one is born a good citizen; no nation is born a democracy. Rather, both are processes that continue to evolve over a lifetime. Young people must be included from birth. A society that cuts off from its youth severs its lifeline.” - Kofi Annan
