
Membership
Whether working in a child and youth care center, a CBO, education, health setting, department of justice, or in the community – anywhere in the lifespace of vulnerable and at-risk children and youth and their families – standing together with colleagues helps in child and youth care workers’ (CYCWs) professional development and the CYC profession. NACCW has a membership arm dedicated to its members to support and connect people to the field of child and youth care work.

NACCW has individual and NGO members, and corporate and private members involved in the provision of care for children.
Professional associations exist to deal with the professional matters of a profession. NACCW is the only professional association of CYCWs in South Africa and has played a key role in the professionalisation of CYC work
